With eight years in the public sector and more than three decades providing consulting advice within a corporate environment, Brian Thompson created realestateworks Ltd in 2011.

Brian held Manager, Director, and Partner positions within property advisory and management consultancy businesses leading teams with a focus on ‘strategic’ projects – often with government bodies and over several years’ duration.

He wrote a research paper on workplace design and its impact on productivity in 2008 long before the term ‘wellbeing’ started to appear in property agents’ marketing material. In 2013, he advised a first tranche One Public Estate council and supports councils and others in this market today.
